I was struggling through the painfully laborious process of tidying up my room several days ago, and I came across a very cool "STOP" sign (embellished with fish designs and emblazoned with the word "Aquarium") that you could hang on your doorknob. With a feeling of great elation at discovering this newfound treasure, I turned around to put it on my doorknob, and then realized… I have no doorknob.
Why? A little more than a year ago, my mother became extremely incensed when I locked myself in my room for the umpteenth time, brought out the mini-screwdrivers, and after brandishing them in my face for several hours, proceeded to disassemble my doorknob. A while later, I also lost my entire door to her ravages… but fortunately my father secretly reinstalled it onto my door frame last summer.
So I just taped the sign onto the door instead.
But, on a happier note, I am currently living with my aunt and uncle in Baltimore, Maryland. My parents are in China at the moment and my father promised to purchase a Jay Chou CD for me. ^_^
