Meet Patsy, an extremely diligent and amicable 60GB external hard drive. For those of you who didn’t bother to read my earlier post, “My unfortunate circumstances,” she is my sole storage space and the solution to all of my computer woes. And my newest, bestest friend.

Since school’s already started for me, and my teachers are merciless when it comes to doling out homework, I apologize to all who are aware of the existence of this blog if I “vanish” for a while and neglect visiting your sites. Unfortunately, my GPA is higher up on my list of priorities than my social life on the Internet.
Yesterday, I was shocked to hear that my friend K-chan had been recently hospitalized after suffering a focal seizure. Her mother suggested that I give her a present to ease the boredom of being cooped up in a room all day, and the only thing I can think of at the moment is a car model kit (having previously constructed several Corvettes and Thunderbirds myself). But I daresay plastic cement would probably be a banned substance. T_T Ahhh, I hope you get well soon, K-chan! Life would be crap without you.
Well, today’s Sunday, and school starts for me on Wednesday. I’m not so thrilled considering I haven’t completely finished my summer homework… and the fact that I barely have any classes with my friends!!! How can our friendships last this way?
Ah, wait, I take that back. The other day I was painstakingly formatting and typing up a list of my friendly contacts (for my agenda planner, which lacks a contact page this year, as well as proper colors), and I “bumped” some people (who had previously expressed their surprise at being listed as one of the first ones on that list), and pushed them to the very bottom of the page. Not because I was finally alphabetizing the list, but because I had just remembered who had point-blank ignored me for three days when I innocently addressed her as “Suzie-Lin”.
And my circle of friends continues to diminish…
On another note, I was just thinking today that I never have any good dreams anymore. Last night, I can tell I dreamt something complicated, but all I remember are two kittens, a snake, and a Russian chauffeur. All the nice ones with magic watermelons and butcher shops seem to have left me forever.

My mother is stupid. When it comes to computers and technology, her thinking and reasoning are akin to that of a Neanderthal.

I’ve just spent another fabulous three hours doing volunteer work at the public library. Constantly reshelving books and videocassettes and DVDs (as well as contending with rude Americans who constantly shove books back onto the incorrect shelves) is tiresome.
I thought I saw a new volunteer today… a boy about my age, if not younger. Anyway, he seemed to be completely clueless; he was making all sorts of trips across the library and neglecting his already-full cart. And he didn’t seem capable of alphabetizing.
Well, I guess that means that I’m not as dumb as I feared.
I’ve just returned home from Baltimore, Maryland several days ago. I’m glad to be back, but I miss the DSL connection at my aunt’s… dial-up is such a pain.
Anyways, I’ve just finished listening to Japanese singer/songwriter Hikaru Utada’s newest album, ULTRA BLUE.
