I’m doomed. I told myself I wouldn’t take until 5:00 pm at the library, but now it’s past 6:30. I have midterm exams tomorrow, and holy shit! I don’t think I’ll pass either of my Honors English or PDM tests…
On the bright side, get a load of these guys:

Yeah, you can see I’m trying to spruce up my writing here… generate some more interest in my hopelessly desolate blog… Anyway, just who are those corset-clad beauties? They’re the Japanese visual kei band Versailles, and the musical genres listed on their Wikipedia page (symphonic metal, power metal, neo-classical metal) are all unanimously to my liking. I think I’ll look into them some more… after I study, that is.
Music reviews… for Play, 愛‧歌姬 (Love · Diva), and Jay Chou on the Run…? Those will be arriving soon, after my exams (or while I stall in my usual vain attempt to delay preparing for my chemistry test)…
Aaaaaaaa-aaaaaaagh, I have so much homework today.
Hey, I released my Orange Jellies theme… did anyone notice?
My good friend Jacky-Lin came back from Taiwan over break, and she helped me purchase some Asian goods (she went, I paid). The loot:
I’ve listened through all three and am thinking of writing some reviews soon. More to come. Chao.

The title may have prematurely given it away, but… can you identify the people in the below photograph?

They appear to be a Japanese visual kei group, right? Like Malice Mizer or Dir en grey? Right???
Ummmm… no.
他們都是中國人。
Yes… may I have the honor of presenting to you 銀色灰塵, or Silver Ash, the first-ever Chinese visual kei rock band.

I walked to the library just about ten minutes ago, and the scenery outside was just… cold and drafty, but… the sky was a pure cerulean blue, and golden and brown and red leaves were falling all over the place… and on the ground, there were swaying patches of intense sunlight and then cool darkness below the trees… and the clouds, although white, had ponderously darker gray shadows underneath, as if they were deliberating on whether to rain…
GAAAAAAAAAH!!!! Scratch all of that out!!!
I just found out TODAY, that Jay Chou’s newest album, Jay Chou on the Run, is being released globally on November 2. Which is five days from today!!!

I found a decent post on a Jay Chou news forum describing his new musical direction and what he’s doing with his image for the album… which is, needless to say, COWBOY ATTIRE! I was just perusing Misaki-san’s blog for posts I missed since my brief absence, and she posted the YouTube video for Jay Chou’s newest music video. I must say, I was a bit shocked, but the video was frickin’ awesome!!! American cowboys never looked so good.
Anyway, got to go. I’m going to go hunting at Goodwill for pieces of my Halloween costume. I’ll tell you more about that later.
Good morning, fellow denizens of the blogosphere! (It actually isn’t morning yet, but it’ll be midnight in approximately thirty-seven minutes… just thought I’d get a jump on the new day.)
Finished Harry Potter 7 a long time ago (which I will not comment on, to avoid spoiling it for others). It only took me less than two days. Needless to say, my self-imposed isolation has also ended.
Earlier this evening, my father prepared a splendiferous dish of cooked cauliflower and bean curd, as well as a dried bean curd salad (bean curd, chopped green onions, and soy sauce). They were simply heavenly. I don’t know whether it made it into anyone’s consciousness, but I wrote a while ago that I’ve recently converted to the vegetarian lifestyle. Yeeeees, I jest not. It’s been going on for several weeks now. I still like meat, of course… especially the fish and the ground pork that goes into a lot of my favorite Chinese tofu dishes. And the mussels, the squid, the jellyfish, the escargot, and the fried fish my cafeteria serves…! Yes, all very dear friends of mine. But I’ve lately realized that vegetables are, well… EXCELLENT. To think I’ve never before appreciated their relative inexpensiveness, their delectable flavor, their vibrant colors, their high water content and nutritious value… ah, I was a fool…
Ah, anyway. Some vegetarian links. Here you go.

And… don’t forget! Nothing is a finer accompaniment to a dish of stir-fried cauliflower and bean curd than the dulcet tones of the Thai pop duo, Golf-Mike! Very pretty, yes? (I just wish they’d perform some more hip-hop pieces, and lay off on the romantic ballads…)
Geesh… I need to update my installation of WordPress soon.
