Yes, I know I promised some nice, soft news music reviews… but which is ultimately more important to the future of the free world… Chinese pop or today's huge primary/caucus day??
To all Americans present… YES, TODAY IS SUPER TUESDAY.
Approximately 22 different states are either holding their presidential primaries or caucuses TODAY. This is bound to be a pivotal turning point in our presidential race. In short, it's make-or-break for all candidates involved.
See the tabulated results here and here.
People in those Super Tuesday states today… get off your apathetic tushes and go support your Democrats!!
[Edit] McCain seems to have clinched most states handily, while the Democratic race is still neck-and-neck; as of this writing on Wednesday morning, Hillary Clinton has won more delegates but Barack Obama has won more states. [/Edit]

Besides the political ruckus, there was an all-new House episode today: patient was a Hasidic Jew, and Dr. Wilson's going out with Amber aka Cutthroat Bitch—! And although we all at first logically assume along with House that Cutthroat Bitch has a devious plan to manipulate Wilson's closeness to House to "get back at him," she and Wilson actually seem to like each other.
Heh heh heh… social equals…
Aaaaaaaaaaaaagh I've been sitting in front of this accursed library computer for nearly three hours and I can't tear myself away…!
So. I finally switched to a new WordPress theme, except that this author was a sloppy coder/designer and I had to manually clean up and tweak the main stylesheet, as well as some of the theme templates.
Aaaaaaaaaand — the 2008 American presidential race will officially begin with tonight's Iowa Caucus, which commences at 7:00 pm. I sincerely hope Hillary Clinton does well, and wins the party nomination… or simply that a Democrat wins the presidency, for that matter.
Hey, I think the couple habituating the computer to my right are speaking… German? No, that doesn't sound right… I think it's some eastern European language. It sounds very beautiful.
Well, in a moment I'm going to get off my tush and walk home in my high-heeled, knee-high black boots fitted with orthopedic arch supports. The boots were purchased from Goodwill for $5, and the arch supports are for my recently rematerialized flat feet.
Oh, school… you loom ever closer, less than a week away, and I still haven't made substantial progress on my exam review packet and chemistry homework… will you please slow down? Thank you.

Behold! The enemy is among us!
OK, OK, I was just kidding. That really is a far cry from my real attitude regarding Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's visit to the U.S. today. For those of you who didn't read my last protected post (and I really must congratulate you if you managed to crack my top-secret password), I mentioned yesterday that Ahmadinejad was invited to come speak at a forum at Columbia University. TODAY. Yes, today. Here in the U.S.! In New York! Today! So close, yet so far…
Yet, predictably, Ahmadinejad's visit has already been marred by a round of protests from students and politicians alike. Some, like me, are perfectly willing to allow him to make his views heard. Others have already condemned this event as a "perversion of free speech" and some brilliant politician out there contributed this equally brilliant quote, stating that "There is no excuse to have this madman, this little Hitler who is running around all over the world killing our soldiers. This is immoral. This is outrageous. This is sick."

Ahem, attention, my fellow North Americans mobbing bookstores in the pursuit of Harry Potter 7 (or lazily sitting at home, hopefully not downloading the illegally scanned text from the Web): Whatever you do, do NOT visit the Harry Potter 7 Wikipedia page (link reluctantly provided here… don't think about clicking it!)!!! A very detailed plot summary chock full of spoilers is featured in plain view, complete with the series' conclusion, and if you desire to preserve the sanctity and wonder of the sacred, magical reading experience, avoid it at all costs!!!
On the other hand, here's an informative article about the book's release so far in the rest of the world, which is quite safe to peruse.
The official U.S. release is only one hour away!
In other news… my father bought a gigantic watermelon. Ooh-la-la! Tomorrow I'll have a delicious watermelon sharbat smoothie.
Note: I shall be in complete media seclusion until I obtain a copy of Harry Potter 7 and finish reading it completely. This is to avoid any mention of spoilers from TV, radio, friends, and unfortunately other bloggers. Until then, therefore, Jenny-fa Land will be in total lockdown. Hope to resurface soon.
Sincerely, Jenny-fa.

今天我的時間不夠… 所以我不能給你們寫中文。
That was Traditional Chinese. "Today, I don't have enough time, so I am unable to write in Chinese."
I was watching the national news a while ago, and found that the most deadly school shooting in U.S. history has transpired today.
The first I heard of it, I was in my English class earlier this afternoon. However, I was unaware of the death toll at that moment.
