Ha! Just finished my computer science exam. There were three questions on computer history in there, but I know I definitely bagged the Charles Babbage one. And Herman Holarith computerized the 1890 U.S. Census, right? Didn't he?
My Spanish III exam is next, after lunch. No digan a otras personas, but I think my teacher didn't spend enough time reviewing vocabulary with us; my previous teacher last year used to show us flash cards and make us play review games all the time, but this year, while I was poring over my textbook, there were a score of words I didn't even know we covered.
I cram surprisingly well, though.
So, on another note, I ordered about four music CDs from YesAsia.com back in December, but when I checked my order's status on their site, it still read "In Process." What's keeping them, I wonder?

Well, today's Sunday, and school starts for me on Wednesday. I'm not so thrilled considering I haven't completely finished my summer homework… and the fact that I barely have any classes with my friends!!! How can our friendships last this way?
Ah, wait, I take that back. The other day I was painstakingly formatting and typing up a list of my friendly contacts (for my agenda planner, which lacks a contact page this year, as well as proper colors), and I "bumped" some people (who had previously expressed their surprise at being listed as one of the first ones on that list), and pushed them to the very bottom of the page. Not because I was finally alphabetizing the list, but because I had just remembered who had point-blank ignored me for three days when I innocently addressed her as "Suzie-Lin".
And my circle of friends continues to diminish…
On another note, I was just thinking today that I never have any good dreams anymore. Last night, I can tell I dreamt something complicated, but all I remember are two kittens, a snake, and a Russian chauffeur. All the nice ones with magic watermelons and butcher shops seem to have left me forever.

Happy Fourth of July, everyone! (By "everyone", I merely meant the lucky stranger reading this who had the unexpected fortune to stumble across this blog…)
Due to our American Independence Day holiday, Auntie, Uncle, and Julie stayed home today. (Usually Auntie works as an accountant weekdays, Uncle owns a restaurant, and Julie goes to a summer camp most of the week.) Julie just about drove me nuts in the morning, causing me to relinquish control of the keyboard and my sanity on more than one occasion. But we did have a cook-out complete with grill, BBQ, and buttered toast, so that was good. ^_^
So far, I already read two of the three books that I was required to read for school this summer, but I was too lazy to even make a start on the packet that accompanies the reading. Yes, I'm a rotten procrastinator… but I absolutely despise answering questions and taking notes on every single chapter of a novel. It completely spoils the experience.
Other than that, I've noticed recently that I'm becoming something of an insomniac again, lying awake at night for what seems like eternity and counting sheep, etc. While purchasing a swim suit today, I also discovered that constantly being plied with desserts and second helpings by my relatives was beginning to take its toll. T_T I'm also tired of watching the Disney Channel all day with Julie. Life is becoming unbearably ho-hum.
I saw Japanese singer Namie Amuro's new PV, called "CAN'T SLEEP, CAN'T EAT, I'M SICK." Although I'm not at all into her brand of R&B, I found the music very catchy and the dance moves extremely impressive.
