Ohmigosh! It’s my first post of the year! Hurrah!

I’ve been painstakingly coding XHTML, CSS, and PHP for the last 3.5 hours, working on a Web site for a client. Unlike this humble blogger, who frequently mooches off free hosting plans with comparatively pathetic directory URLs/subdomains, my client purchased a real domain name, and the server is wicked fast. I just hope this isn’t a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

So. It’s late in the evening on Saturday, and I still have truckloads of homework awaiting me in my bedchamber (^__^). But, bah! I still have plenty of time… no need to worry… yes, that’s right, no need to be concerned… especially about that art project… and English paper… and chemistry assignment… and…

Oh, something just occurred to me. Attention, ladies and gentlemen. A friendly writing/spelling tip for speakers and aficionados of the English language: “all right” is not spelled “alright.” “A-l-r-i-g-h-t” is incorrect! It’s a word that does not exist! So just keep that in mind, the next time you use the phrase in your pitiable prose.

Sorry for sounding inane. I’m usually much more composed and together… usually.

The same goes for “a lot” and “alot”. It because that we say the words so quickly together that they sound like one word. If it weren’t for spell-checkers, then I’d spell lots of words wrong.

I think I prefer mooching off free hosting plans too. After all, as long as you don’t need all of the features, why not? But have fun designing for that person! Maybe he/she will pay you a lot.

Good luck on your schoolwork! Haha…it’s evil.

Oooo, client. :D That would be so neat, hehe.

That IS a lot (lol) of homework. I didn’t get as much as usual this weekend, and I sure hope that next week I get even less than this week cuz midterms are coming up. O_O

Hehe, I don’t use the term “all right” too much in my writing, but I do use “a lot” pretty often. XP

i use alright when i’m chatting on aim or something, but i don’t think its a word that should be used in writing that much. hope you had a happy new year! i can’t believe you have so much homework already, i only have a little bit of reading to do so far, but it’s gonna pile up soon!
