| Volunteer work

I’ve just spent another fabulous three hours doing volunteer work at the public library. Constantly reshelving books and videocassettes and DVDs (as well as contending with rude Americans who constantly shove books back onto the incorrect shelves) is tiresome.

I thought I saw a new volunteer today… a boy about my age, if not younger. Anyway, he seemed to be completely clueless; he was making all sorts of trips across the library and neglecting his already-full cart. And he didn’t seem capable of alphabetizing.

Well, I guess that means that I’m not as dumb as I feared.

As far as rude people and not putting things back, HEY I am with ya there, I work for Home Depot part time, and it amazes me that, people will open a sealed box and look and unpack it and than put it back on the shelf, than take another sealed box and put it in there cart. When I see this I seal the open box and run up and take the sealed one from there cart and put the one in that they opened and tell them it was sealed in the first place so you purchase this one since YOU opened it. Than you have the other people that shop and open things and purchase it and bring it back cause it was broken, yea right YOU broke it and now you want your money back. Working retail can be FUN, and it can be a pain in the butt also
